Now here's a wedding that was all about having a dam good time and keeping it totally chilled out!! An awesome couple surrounded by amazing family and friends.
Couples like this make my job a real pleasure and the reason why I love being a wedding photographer!
Matt & Lou's big day had it all! Sunshine and rain! Fun and games! Vintage style details and cool quirky D.I.Y. retro-chic-ness!
The day started at Matt & Lou's home with all the hustle and bustle you'd expect from a wedding morning.
Their ceremony took place at St Matthias & St George Church in Astwood Bank, Redditch. This was my first time at this church. A truly beautiful church.
The weather was a little hit 'n' miss for late August. Sunny blue skies would, without warning, turn to unseasonal chilly downpours!
They hired Bentley Village Hall in Upper Bentley for their reception.
They'd organised lots to entertain their guests. A kids playground on-site was used to host an old fashioned Hook-a-Duck and Coconut Shy.
Lou's 5 bridesmaids were amazing! All making sure her day went perfectly to plan. Their matching outfits were absolutely gorgeous!
After their wedding breakfast we took a wander round the hall for some fun photos.
I couldn't resist making use of the swings and fields nearby!
A live band afterwards packed the dance-floor carrying on the unique cool vibe of their wedding day into the evening celebrations, everyone was having a great time!
