A FAMILIAR FAVOURITE IN BROMSGROVE

Manor Hill House in Bromsgrove and St Kenelms Church in Halesowen are two very familiar venues to me. Especially the former.

In fact, I've lost count the amount of times I've been a wedding photographer at Manor Hill House. It's also only a short journey from here as well.

One of the many aspects of being a wedding photographer I really enjoy are the challenges I face when often visiting the same place.

Many photographers will just stay in their comfort zone as it's all to easy to be a bit repetitive and do the same things you did last time. For me though, I try to approach it as if it's the first time there, to try and make it all new again.

It's a great opportunity to think outside the box.

Manor Hill House is definitely setup with wedding photography in mind. It's an exclusive privately owned modern home that doubles up as a swish wedding venue.

It's situated a little off the beaten track down a quiet lane surrounded by landscaped gardens, stables and open countryside.

So many photographic opportunities. The venue owners have cleverly designed an easy access sty to a farmers field next door. Obviously (if the weather is kind) I can never resist taking advantage of it.

STUNNING STYLE AND COUNTRY VIEWS

Clare arrived in style. She stepped out of a Classic MK2 Jag wearing a stunning Charlotte Balbier design. Her bridesmaids weren't too shabby either! The bouquets she had created perfectly matched their dresses.

Clare booked me online after just a few emails. I tailored their coverage to suit them as Clare didn't want any bride preps.

They only decided to have their evening celebrations covered a few weeks before the wedding. Flexibility was something they both appreciated with the run up to their big day.

They didn't want to waste too much time on their formal photos so decided to just have a few quick ones of their nearest and dearest here and there throughout the day.

Choosing them as you go always makes the day flow much better.

Clare & Nick's day was perfect, even with the threat of thunderstorms hanging over us all. Luckily the downpours didn't arrive until later that evening.

Everyone had a great time, including me! Big shout out to them both for choosing me to be part of it.

"SO WONDERFUL"

"These are so wonderful! We ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM and cannot thank you enough for capturing our day so perfectly. We are really excited to share them with our family and friends!"
