I was absolutely delighted when Polly & Richard chose me to photograph their special day. I first met Polly whilst having a pint and a spot of lunch at The Old Rectifying House in Worcester.

She was working behind the bar there at the time. We got chatting and I noticed her gorgeous engagement ring and mentioned that I was a wedding photographer.

Something I often throw into a conversation as you never know! Well, a couple of months later I got a phone call from her asking if I was available!

Their wedding ceremony was at St. Georges Church in Barbourne in Worcester followed by a stunning English Country Garden reception at The Grove in Malvern. Both of which I'd never been too before.

They only wanted coverage from Polly's bridal preparations up to all the important speeches.

They had a beautiful vintage quality oozing throughout the day. An eye-catching 1960’s Camper Van and a classic soft topped VW Beetle made the perfect wedding cars!

The Grove in Malvern is a Victorian Gothic Mansion situated near the foot of the Malvern Hills. It made the ideal backdrop for their reception.

The light inside was absolutely perfect! The great entrance hall staircase was used to highlight Polly's stunning wedding dress!

Polly was game for something a little different, so I couldn't resist making use of the magnificent period style bath in the bridal suite!

The shabby chic embellishment and laid-back atmosphere of the Concert Hall completed the vintage wedding theme for all their important toasts and speeches. Below are the comments from them!

We absolutely love our photos, they captured our day perfectly and we really appreciated how flexible you were with letting us create our own package.

We were also amazed at how many we got, Over 700!! And all of them fantastic, which has made choosing which ones to print and put up rather difficult!

You were superb on the day, everyone commented on how friendly and professional you were. We loved that you were pretty much up for anything.

Even defying death on the (not so stable) old fire escape at The Grove to get the best group shot!
