LAID BACK VIBES IN THE ELGAR ROOM
The Elgar Room at The Council House is a gem in the heart of Great Malvern. This late Gothic-style building sits at the foot of the Malvern Hills, making it one of my favourite registry offices in Worcestershire.
It is a cosy, intimate space that spills out onto a terrace with superb views over Priory Park—perfect for a confetti shower and big bear hugs. With space for up to 50 guests, it is ideal for couples who want a small, meaningful wedding in a beautiful setting.
Tracey and Sid chose a very chilled approach, even seeing each other before the ceremony. It is a great way to settle the nerves and keep the atmosphere relaxed from the very start. PRIORY PARK & GARDEN PARTIES
Priory Park is a fantastic playground for photography, with its mature trees, whimsical wooden bridge, and sparkly pond. We took a short wander for some portraits before the couple headed off for a celebratory meal.
Later in the day, I joined them at their family home for a Moroccan-themed garden party. Splitting the coverage this way is a simple solution for couples who want the ceremony and the evening celebrations captured without needing a photographer for the hours in between. It was a brilliant, fun-filled day that lasted well into the night.
Splitting Coverage: If you have a gap in your day—perhaps for a private family meal—splitting your photography hours is a smart way to get the most value. It ensures you have professional coverage for the "big" moments without paying for downtime.
