Dappled sunlight streaming through soaring glass ceilings, tropical palms whispering secrets to curious orchids, and laughter echoing off a glistening river. No, it's not a scene from a movie set in some exotic jungle, it's Jephson Gardens in Leamington Spa.

And as a wedding photographer, trust me, it's the most unique, light-infused playground for capturing love stories.

The Temperate House. It's not just a greenhouse, it's a portal to another world. Emerald ferns brushing your cheek, vibrant blooms stealing the show, butterflies flitting like confetti in the humid air.

It's like a contemporary fairy tale palace, perfect for wedding receptions that sparkle as much as the bride's ring.

The best part? The light. Oh, the glorious, ever-changing light! It dances through the glass, paints patterns on the floor, and bathes every moment in a magical glow. Shooting here is like a painter wielding a kaleidoscope, forever chasing the perfect sunbeam to illuminate a smile, a tear, a whispered "I do."

It was my first time at this popular unique venue in Leamington Spa. A tale of love, laughter, and late-November magic!

I had the privilege of capturing the wedding of a truly phenomenal couple.

An explosion of vibrant personalities, whimsical greenery, and enough laughter to melt the autumn chill.

Tell me how you first met? Who what when where why?

We matched on Bumble and after a few weeks of chatting we actually spotted each other at Jino's Thai Cafe in Headingley (Leeds).

Kate was having dinner with a friend and Tom came in to collect a takeaway. We messaged each other straight away and went on our first date that weekend.

Where was your first date? What did you think of each other?

We went for a coffee and a walk in Meanwood Park.

Kate thought Tom was kind and funny and Tom thought Kate was a lot of fun and an amazing person.

Tell me about the proposal, (did you see it coming, how did you feel, nervous, excited, freaking out?)

Tom did NOT see it coming! It was the best surprise!

We were in Elterwater in the Lake District in April and Kate brough giant hula hoops along for a snack. Little to Tom's knowledge there was a reason for the ring-shaped snack as she got down on one knee near the waters edge.

What Kate didn't know is that Tom was planning to propose to her too and had already found her a ring! After saying Yes Tom got down on one knee too and proposed right back! (Kate said yes too!)

Tell me one thing that you love most about each other.

Kate loves that Tom is so fundamentally kind. Tom loves that Kate is always joyful.

Why did you choose The Glasshouse as the venues for your wedding?

We are outdoorsy people and loved the option the Glasshouse gave us for a non-weather dependent outdoor-feel wedding amongst the trees.

And it was perfect!

Besides getting married, what is the one thing that you are looking forward to the most on your wedding day?

Being surrounded by all our family and friends to have the most joyful celebration!

How have you find the wedding planning? Do you have any tips for other brides?

We made all the decisions together and tried to be decisive so we didn't get bogged down in decisions and feel overwhelmed.

It worked most the time. Mostly we were just excited and enjoyed the process! When else do you get to plan something so joyful!

We found that if we couldn’t remember an aspect of the wedding from someone else’s wedding it wasn’t worth worrying too much about!

Bonus question – As I’m a photographer, what advice can you give about choosing your wedding photographer?

Pick someone who suits your style!! Leo was so much fun and really contributed to our day as a person let alone the photos that we're SO EXCITED to see!
