Andrea arranged to meet me at her wedding reception venue, the magnificent Hagley Hall in Worcestershire. After showing her my beautiful Obsidian Albums she decided to book me there and then!

I didn't meet Lewis until a few weeks later. Not unusual, as I often find it's mostly the Bride that chooses the photographer.

Andrea is originally from Michigan. There was a very cool American vibe to the whole day. All her family and friends flew over for the wedding.

Their ceremony took place during the middle of summer in a beautiful old-fashioned church in the chocolate box village of Dodford in Bromsgrove.

Lewis surprised everyone (including me) arriving in a customised monster lorry cab! They'd also organised their own beautiful flower petal confetti for all their guests to throw.

No bridal preps or evening photography was required. They mostly wanted lots of fun candid photos of the main parts of the day and formals kept to a minimum.

I had a quick stroll round the grounds of Hagley Hall with them to capture some romantic moments and to organise a few fun formals before their wedding breakfast kicked off!

I love shooting weddings at Hagley Hall. It's situated within acres of stunning panoramic Worcestershire countryside.

It's quintessentially English! Something Andrea wanted all her American friends and family to experience during their short time here.

“Sorry it has taken us so long for us to send you our selection of photographs for our album, there were so many amazing photos you had done that it was almost impossible for us to choose the ones we wanted.

Thank you again for everything you did on the day, we are so pleased with all the photos and you have captured the day perfectly."
