CHARACTER AND CHARM AT GORCOTT HALL
This was my first visit to Gorcott Hall for Liz and Gareth’s big day, and what a venue it is. If you like Tudor-style buildings with heaps of character, this Redditch gem is hard to beat. The couple wanted a venue that could host both the ceremony and reception in one place, and the historic charm of the hall suited their style perfectly.
The day was incredibly relaxed, reflecting Liz and Gareth’s personalities. From the beautiful timber-framed architecture to the joyful atmosphere in the room, it was a pleasure to capture their 10-year journey finally reaching the altar. NERVES & CELEBRATIONS
After a decade together, Gareth pulled off a surprise proposal in Paris at the end of a European tour. The only "red flag" for Liz was Gareth’s inability to finish his dinner due to nerves—apparently the first time he has ever left food on his plate!
The wedding itself was a lot less stressful than they imagined, proving that with a bit of family help, you really shouldn't sweat the small stuff. It was a brilliant day filled with laughter, great food, and plenty of character.
FROM COLLEGE PARTIES TO PARIS
How They Met: At a college party held by a mutual friend. Gareth technically invited himself along—luckily for him, it turned out to be the best decision he ever made!
The Proposal: A mini-tour of Europe ending in Paris. Gareth proposed by the Eiffel Tower. Liz was completely stunned, having only suspected something was up when Gareth was too nervous to eat his meal earlier that evening.
Advice for Couples: Choose someone who reflects your personality. If you want to have a laugh and feel at ease, find a photographer who makes the process feel natural and flows with your day.
