WINTER LIGHT AT CURRADINE BARNS

Set in the quaint village of Shrawley, Curradine Barns is a collection of 19th-century livestock buildings and modernized farm cottages. I have shot many weddings at this popular Worcestershire venue, and it was a pleasure to return for Rose and Ben’s winter celebration.

Winter weddings offer a unique challenge, especially on the shortest days of the year when light vanishes by 3pm. Fortunately, Rose and Ben took my advice and moved their ceremony forward to 11:30am. This simple change ensured we could make the most of the daylight and the venue's stunning grounds before the sun set.

A BLOODY AMAZING DAY

Many couples don't realise how much a late winter ceremony can restrict their photographic options. By starting earlier, Rose and Ben had a dream day with perfect conditions. Their wedding was truly fantastic, filled with laughter and great energy.

Rose and Ben were wonderful to work with, and their guests were equally welcoming. It was an absolute highlight of my winter season.
