Compton Verney Wedding Venue Photography.

As a wedding photographer, shooting at venues I haven't been to before is always something I look forward too.

On a soggy, late summers day, I made my very first journey to a lovely little village church in Mollington, Oxfordshire for Rick and Lucy’s wedding ceremony.

Followed by a wedding reception at Compton Verney in Warwickshire.

Rick and Lucy booked me online from overseas in Australia, where they've now made a life for themselves. They're both originally from Oxfordshire and decided to come back home to tie-the-knot.

They had to do nearly all their planning and arranging from over there - not an easy job! I only met them a few days before their wedding!

The day started off with Rick and the lads at Mollington village pub for a quick rum and coke to settle the nerves!

I then headed quickly over to Lucy at the family home getting ready with her parents and bridesmaids.

After the ceremony, we all headed over to Compton Verney in Warwickshire for the reception. Another first time for me at this particular wedding venue.
