I love all my weddings, especially when they take place at one of my favourite wedding venues in Worcestershire - Birtsmorton Court.
A popular wedding venue I shoot at almost every season.
Martin and Jess are the coolest couple ever. They booked me online almost two years in advance! Fun was the main ingredient of their wedding!
They warned me it would be full of crazy moments, lots of laughter and wacky guests. Their day certainly didn't disappoint!
It started off with Martin, his two best men and all his ushers getting ready together in The Garden House.
He'd arranged custom-made vintage tweed suits for each of them, along with traditional style pocket watches and personalised engraved whisky flasks!
It was then a quick dash over to Jess as she arrived for some fun bridal preps with her bridesmaids in The Bridal Suite before heading over to the neighbouring Church of St. Thomas of Canterbury with St. Peter and St. Paul for the ceremony.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great. Everyone had to dodge the heavy rain showers throughout most of the day. Luckily though the clouds broke long enough each time I needed them too!
Speeches and toasts were organised outside in the White Garden before the start of their wedding breakfast.
The rain started to lightly fall again and everyone was provided with white umbrellas, except for Jess and Martin who brought along their own vintage bridal pagoda.
It made a very memorable change to the customary speeches I see at most weddings. We had a quick wonder around Birtsmorton to grab a few fun photos before the evening celebrations.
They'd organised their own box of fun vintage props in the marquee for guests to use. Wigs, masks, fake moustaches, all sorts of zany gear!
Later in the evening a Céilidh Band surprised the guests as everyone was ordered to get up with them for their first dance! I stayed longer than planned to capture all the fun.
Such an amazing day! Massive amounts of love and laughter, ingredients for a perfect wedding!
Weddings at Birtsmorton Court in Worcestershire are always ones I look forward to photographing for a few reasons. It's local for a start, but mainly because it's a magnificent wedding venue surrounded by spectacular gardens and greenery.
So many opportunities for photography. I never run out of locations to use. What more could you want from a wedding venue? Below are their comments.
"Thanks for the link and the photos in the post. They look great! We've shown them to a few people now and everyone is really impressed.
I overheard Jess’s sister say that they were the best wedding photos that she'd ever seen!
If anyone needs a photographer we'll definitely give them your phone number. I hope you enjoyed the day, I know we did!
Thanks for all your help and for getting the photos to us so quickly, even during a house move. The slide show is really good! Thanks for everything.
